I know my pet won’t sit still. Won’t this be a waste of time?
You’d be surprised how often we hear this, and really, Jane needs just a split second to get those perfect shots, whether your dog is quietly sitting or acting like a total goofball.
If I bring my pet to your studio, will other pets be there?
No. Jane schedules her sessions with plenty of time in between each other so that no two unfamiliar noses meet. Therefore, Jane asks that you please arrive on time for your session. Arriving early or late both can create a stressful situation for both your pet and others.
Should my pet be groomed before our appointment?
This is not a bad idea, but isn’t necessary. Jane recommends that your pet at least has a bath a day or two before your scheduled session. Putting your pet through a grooming appointment or a bath on the same day as his session can be too much stress in one day.
My dog does not behave off leash, but I really want an outdoor session in an open area. What to do?
No worries. Jane will bring a retractable thin leash so that it can be easily edited out from your photos. You’ll never notice and it will look like your dog was having a great old time on his own.
Can I be in the photos with my pet?
Of course! Jane loves to tell stories through her photography and you are very much a part of your pet’s story.
